Using Edge Code Overlays and Feet+Frame Rulers
Final Cut Pro can display edge code overlays in the Canvas and Viewer, as well as
Feet+Frame rulers in the Timeline and other timecode fields. You are not required to
use these features to edit film footage in Final Cut Pro, but they can help you feel as
though you were working with film instead of film transferred to video.
