Exporting with Compressor from Final Cut Pro

You can export a Browser clip or sequence directly from Final Cut Pro to Compressor by
using the Export Using Compressor command. Exporting media from Final Cut Pro to
Compressor works nearly the same as using Compressor as a standalone application.
The main difference is that Final Cut Pro renders media directly to Compressor during
the encoding process, so you don’t need to create an intermediate QuickTime movie.
